SPENNYMOOR TOWN booked their place in round three but were given a hard time by visiting Runcorn Linnets. Glen Taylor drove Moors in front inside 70 seconds with a neat finish on his left foot after good work from Rob Ramshaw down the right.
However, Linnets – who were playing in round two for the first time in their history – roared back to level with a great move to unlock the Moors defence, which was clinically finished by Ryan Brooke.
