THEY may have been rebuffed in their cheeky bid to sign Erling Haaland on loan – but Ashton United had no problem finding the net.
The Robins went viral at the start of the week after tweeting they’d put in a loan off for the Manchester City and Norway star so he could tick over during the World Cup.
Not that they needed him in a comfortable victory. The first-half had little to recommend it until five minutes before the break when on loan midfield debutante Dana Amaral picked up a loose ball and rifled it past Felix Godd...
