JAIME Obama-Nvumba netted an injury-time equaliser to deny Merstham a first win of the season.
The substitute won possession in his own half, then set Mo Ceesay off on a surging run before receiving the ball back, rounding the keeper and scoring.
Thatcham forced the early running with Ceesay and Levi Heholt seeing shots pushed behind by Filip Chalupniczak.
