CORNES IN AT CITY

CHRIS Cornes is the new manager of Worcester City.
The former Bewdley Town boss has been appointed after the departure of short-lived joint managers Keenen Meakin-Richards and Graham Deakin from the Midland Premier outfit.
Cornes previously played for City on two occasions after starting his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers. He also turned out for Telford United, Bromsgrove Rovers, Stourport Swifts and Redditch United.
His managerial career started at neighbours Worcester Raiders, who he led to promotion from Division One in 2019.
