A SECOND consecutive defeat on the road added insult to injury for Southend United as Shots’ caretaker manager Ross McNeilly signed off with a win.
The National League’s best defence conceded two soft goals at the EBB Stadium yet Shrimpers’ manager Kevin Maher highlighted his side’s lack of attacking firepower as the decisive factor.
