Play-off chasers share spoils

TWO disallowed goals in the first half kept scores level, as Marine and Hyde United clung onto play-off positions.
Marine controlled much of the first half and almost broke the deadlock on 17 minutes, as Jonathan Spittle’s header was brilliantly denied by Dan Atherton in goal.
Hyde failed to fully deal with a Sol Solomon corner, as a penalty box scramble eventually fell to Hayden Campbell, but as he struck and found the back of the net, the referee blew the whistle, due to an apparent head injury to goalkeeper Atherton.
