HITMAN REID ANSWERS SOS TO RESCUE LATICS

GOAL-GETTER Alex Reid insists he can not wait to get the long-suffering Oldham Athletic fans excited again.
The 27-year-old has landed at Boundary Park from Stockport County after agreeing a bumper two-and-a-half year deal with David Unsworth’s struggling Latics.
Striker Reid was a National League winner at Stockport last season and returned to Non-League’s top tier for the start of this campaign for a loan spell with Solihull Moors.
Reid netted eight goals for Moors before being recalled by the Hatters this week to complete his permanent Oldham move.
