BOOTLE won their second game on the bounce against Skelmersdale. The first chance of the game went to the hosts, but Ben Hodkinson was unable to convert. Nivaldo opened his Bucks account in the ninth minute, taking advantage of a sloppy defensive error by the visitors.
The game presented few opportunities to either side as the half ticked on, but ex-Buck Sam Sheen’s heavily deflected effort after 35 minutes was enough to take the sides into the half level. The hosts got their noses in front again after 78 minutes when Ben Hodkinson converted directly...
