HANWELL ended their run of seven league games without a win with a closely fought victory over their visitors from the south-west.
The only goal of the game came in the second half when Mark Waters won the ball in the opposition’s half. His angled shot looked as if it may be cleared, but Conor Lynch bravely slid in to force the ball over the line.
