PRESCOT Cables deservedly earned the points with an impressive victory in their mid-table clash at Shawe View.
After John Murphy struck a post in the early stages, the hosts took the lead against the run of play in the 27th minute when Matty Morgan tapped home at the back stick following neat link-up play between Tom Bentham and Mike Burke.
Five minutes later, Jack Goodwin equalised with a superb curling shot from 25 yards that flew past Matty Cooper and into the far corner.
