HONOURS ended even after a closely fought endto-end encounter at Holt House.
Macclesfield started the stronger and forced a series of corners in the opening period. But James Berry blasted a shot over the Colne goal and Neil Kengni forced a good save from Reds keeper Andre Mendes.
It was Colne who took the lead after 21 minutes when Enock Lusiama fired a curling 20-yard shot into the top corner.
