WORKSOP recorded a n16th league win by beating Pontefract Collieries.
Pontefract shocked the league leaders by taking the lead in the seventh minute when Gavin Allott laid the ball on for Joe Lumsden, who stroked his shot past Sebastian Malkowski.
The Tigers equalised on the half-hour mark through Liam Hughes from the spot.
Vaughan Redford then came back to haunt his former side as he stabbed
home from Sam Wedgbury’s cross on the stroke of halftime. Redford then added a second seven minutes after the restart.
