DEAL TOWN WON 5-4 ON PENS
DEAL TOWN edged out nine-man Sporting Bengal on penalties to reach the fourth round in an incident-packed match at the Mile End stadium.
A last-gasp equaliser by Sheri Artmeladze handed Bengal an unlikely draw and sent the ties to penalties.
After one miss apiece in the first five, Henry Newcombe saved Charles Ruddick’s sudden-death kick and Connor Coyne duly smashed home the winning penalty.
