CLUB legend Steve Burr has left Hednesford Town – three months to the day after he had been appointed.
Experienced Burr took over the reins at the Step 3 strugglers on September 12 but despite drafting in senior players such as Keith Lowe, James McQuilkin and Chris Clements, he been unable to turn fortunes around.
A frustrating run of nine league matches without a win was ended by a 2-0 win over Stratford Town but just one further point from trips to Needham Market and Redditch United saw the Pitmen second from bottom and nine points from safety.
