ENGLAND C will go to Altrincham in March looking to avenge their defeat to Cymru C.

Non-League’s Three Lions meet their old foes at Alty’s J.Davidson Stadium on March 21. It will be the fourth clash between the two sides since 2018 with both sides boasting one win apiece, while the 2019 match at Salford City ended in a draw.

Mark Jones’ Welsh sidehammered Paul Fairclough’s team 4-0 in a Covid-delayed game at the Oval in Caernarfron – a game delayed by two years because of Covid – back in March.

Jones said: “It was such a fantastic occasion last years.  Players on both sides will be looking forward to showcasing their talent in what should be another entertaining and competitive match, and one we are all very much looking forward to.”

Fairclough added “We know it will be a challenging fixture against a difficult opponent and we will have to be at our best to get a result.”
