BISHOP’S STORTFORD suffered a first home league defeat of the season, as Lewes completed a league double over the Blues in the Pitching In Isthmian League Premier Division.
Stortford had gone all of 2022 unbeaten at the R & DAdvisors UK Stadium in league encounters, and were without defeat for 31 matches in all stretching back to August 2021, but began the new year with back-to-back defeats in the league for the first time in the campaign.
