Bay have lift off with crucial win

HERNE BAY achieved their first win since October with this crucial win over Bowers & Pitsea.
With both teams in a fight against relegation, three points was the order of the day for both managers. Bay started positively and took the lead from their first attack when Mason Saunders-Henry’s cross was tapped in by Rory Smith.
Two minutes later the lead was doubled. New signing Yannis Drais’ free-kick found its way into the bottom corner courtesy of a deflection which left Bowers custodian Melvin Minter wrong-footed.
