■ AFC Sudbury had to work hard to claim victory by a solitary goal and maintain their position at the top of the Isthmian League North Division.
The only goal of the match came after 20 minutes when Josh Stokes broke down the right before sending in a low cross. There followed a series of ricochets off Thurrock defenders before the ball broke to Josh Mayhew who poked home from six-yards.
