■ CLITHEROE’S poor home form continued as they went down to lowly Skelmersdale’s only chance of the game.
Richie Baker had two free-kicks well saved for Clitheroe, but with half an hour gone, Billy Priestley conceded a soft free-kick on the edge of the Clitheroe box.
From the gentle freekick which floated in, a short period of head tennis in the area saw Skelmersdale take the lead.
