Dixon on the spot for dogged Wire

WARRINGTON TOWN scored a second-half equalisr from the spot to make it nine games unbeaten in the league for the Wire.
FC United stay within close contact of the play-off positions, and should have scored in the opening 10 minutes, when Dontai Gabidon headed wide from the edge of the six-yard box.
The home went ahead just after the half hour mark. Regan Linney forced a save from Wire keeper Tony Thompson at his near post, but the ball deflected and found its way at pace to Gabidon, who sent the ball into the top corner.
