A MOMENT of brillance from Dean Furman illuminated an otherwise low-quality game and boosted Warrington Rylands promotion hopes.
Liversedge, who ended the day deep in the relegation mire, started the brighter of the two sides and struck the woodwork on seven minutes. Joe Walton planted a firm header against an upright and could only watch as the ball bounced across the open goal.
Ten minutes later, Warrington’s Sam Egerton hit the bar at the other end as Liversedge struggled to clear from a corner.
