LONG Eaton United bounced back from a rough defeat to hold second-placed Stockton Town to a draw at Grange Park.
Matty Tymon forced Long Eaton goalkeeper Sam Wilson into a reaction save from point-blank range midway through the second half, and moments later Wilson was called upon again to deny Kevin Hayes from close range.
Wilson’s heroics seemed to come to fruition, as Alex Marshall eventually opened the scoring in the 80th minute with a thumping header from Jamie Walker’s in-swinging corner.
