RELEGATION rivals Glossop North End and Widnes shared the spoils.
The visiting Whites had the game’s best chances and arguably deserved more than a solitary point.
Ste Irwin forced a really good diving save out of Craig Ellison, while Stephen Rigby hit a dipping volley wide with an effort that had the North End keeper scrambling.
Widnes merited their opener when it came after 65 minutes through Jack Byrne, who broke the deadlock with a towering header.
But Glossop responded and were awarded a penalty when Nelson Digbeu fouled Jacques Etia....
