NORTHWICH re- to Townfield turned for the first time in 2023 to play out an entertaining draw with Bootle.
It was the visitors who had the better of the first 45 minutes and took the lead midway through the half, Tom Peterson guid ing a lovely headed in to the bottom left corner of Tony Aghayere’s goal.
Bootle had a lot of the ball and probed 1874’s back line looking to extend their lead but the ‘74 defence held firm.
