CLITHEROE ran out convincing winners but it was the visitors who dominated most of the first half.
Witton opened the scoring after nine minutes from a fine Connor Hughes strike.
Clitheroe’s resurgence started in the 30th minute when Danny Wilkins played a  corner to Reece Webb-Foster who stroked home.  The Blues continued their  dominance in the second  half. They took the lead after  65 minutes when smart close  work by Wilkins in the box saw Lee Pugh fire in a rebound off the Witton keeper.
