BECKS maintained their title charge with a hard fought win – leading scorer Louie Theophanous’s 70th-minute goal enough to ensure another three points.
A fast start saw Harvey Earle save smartly from Town’s Steve Townsend, before new Brickies signing Joe Tyrie saw a header hit the bar.
Townsend failed to get a header on target from closerange 17 minutes in and 12 minutes later Theophanous’ effort was saved was after he was played in on goal.
