FORMER playing favourire Kyle Critchell has been appointed as manager of Wessex Premier Division club Portland United.
The one-time Wales under 21 international, who has also played for Torquay, Chesterfield, Wrexham and York, will be assisted by another former Portland man, Jamie Symes.
Critchell, who was player/ assistant manager in 2015-16, succeeds Franklyn Clarke and Sam Poole, who stood down three weeks ago.
