BELPER Town came out on top of this basement battle, with the Nailers leapfrogging their hosts at the bottom of the table. The pitch was sticky and the game was a slog for both teams, but it was the Nailers who scored first when Jacob Gratton crossed for Jerome Greaves to score from close range - his first goal for the club
Sedge grew into the game as the half wore on and the visitors had to defend deep and with numbers. Nevertheless, Belper could have extended their lead just before the break when great work from Todd Jordan set up Gratton...
