It was Lancaster who finally broke the deadlock after 63 minutes when they were awarded a free kick that was played into the penalty area where Evangelinos rose to head past Dan Lavercombe.
The goal was just the confidence boost the home side needed and they began to take a grip of the game, ocheted off David Norris wide of goal.
