CHESHAM kept up the pressure on the top two with a narrow but de served win over a spirited Merthyr side.
The first half was nota ble for some good passing football by both teams, but with few chances at either end.
Both sides tried to play decent passing football. Chesham were the best side overall, but the Mar tyrs never gave up and made Chesham work hard for their win.
Chesham had more of the game, but their best efforts from Omar Rowe and Jordan Edwards were easily dealt with by home keeper Jamie Cogman.
