LEAGUE leaders Worksop Town extended their unbeaten run to 25 games, but were made to work all the way for the win by Consett.
The Steelmen took the lead after five minutes when Calvin Smith hit a dipping half-volley into the cor ner from 15 yards.
They thought they had doubled their lead when new signing Nathan Greenwood converted from Jake Orrell’s through ball, but was flagged offside.
