GRESLEY Rovers held off relegation rivals Dereham Town thanks to a first-minute wonder-goal by James Spruce which gave them a vital three points.
Goalkeeper Lewis Fenney frustrated the visitors throughout the game with several brilliant saves ensuring an important clean sheet for the Moatmen.
A timid second half in front of goal by both sides forward players and a strong defensive effort from Gresley left the home side gleaning the three points.
