BURGESS Hill’s run of games without a win was stretched to eight when they lost at home to Sheppey United.
It was the visitors’ player-manager Jack Midson who led the way by opening the scoring before Eddie Allsop got in on the act to double Sheppy’s lead.
Sheppey looked on course to be seeing out a comfortable victory but Burgess Hill were handed a lifeline when defender Dan Cadman popped up to pull a goal back for his side ten minutes before the end.
