CHIPSTEAD belied their low position in the league table as they deservedly claimed all three points.
They started well and could have scored early on when Tom Smith put Jonathan Hood in but he shot just wide.
Peter Wedgeworth had a shot deflected for a Chipstead corner, before Matt Kerbey made the first of several saves on the day to keep Northwood at bay. The turning point came after 56 minutes, when the referee adjudged that Andy

Somo had been bundled over in the box and Hood made no mistake from the spot to give the home side the lead.
