BRAD McGowan scored his second goal in three games but Basford United succumbed to a defeat to Mickleover on derby day at Greenwich Avenue.
Veteran striker Stuart Beavon scored within three minutes to put the Derbyshire-based side in front, but even as McGowan headed home the equaliser just 12 minutes later, Derby County loanee George
Nunn sealed the win for Mickleover just before the hour.
The game was set alight early on when Beavon benefited from a loose ball in the area to poke home the opener beyond Kieran Preston.
