ASHFORD shrugged off two recent defeats to take a crucial and convincing win. They broke the deadlock when Wayne Ridgley converted a 14th-minute penalty, and five minutes into the second half Chad Goulter headed home a Ridgley cross.
Guernsey struck back through substitute Keene Domaille before the goal of the game on 66 minutes, when Javin Dougan curled a sweet shot with the outside of his right boot just inside the far post to make it 3-1.
