DEFENDER Ryan Astles scored the only goal of the game to get The New Saints back to winning ways as they beat Newtown 1-0 in the JD Cymru Premier Championship Conference yesterday afternoon.
Craig Harrison’s side lost 3-2 at Cardiff Met last weekend, their first defeat of the league campaign, and were delighted to get back on track. They had already beaten Newtown 4-1 in the league and 7-0 in the JD Welsh Cup this season.
