HARRY Lewis came off the bench for Ashton United to bag two goals and maintain their fine away record at a chilly Hurst Cross.
Ashton moved Craig Hobson into central defence and restored Dale Whitham in midfield and, after the sides cancelled each other out in the opening exchanges, centre-half Matty Regan denied Curtis Durose as he collected Clayton Donaldson’s pass in the area.
United went ahead five minutes before the interval. Cole Lonsdale was fouled on the angle of the area and curled his free kick on to the head ...
