LIVERSEDGE claimed a second victory of the week as Nathan Cartman’s first half strike sealed the points against play-off chasing Marine.
Despite their inferior league position, Sedge controlled much of the opening proceedings, attacking purposefully through Nicky Walker.
The deadlock was broken on 22 minutes. Nathan Cartman got on the end of a long long ball before expertly lobbing onrushing keeper Bayleigh Passant.
Sedge defender Daniel Ellis was left kicking himself minutes later when he was unable to steer his back-post header on target....
