LEISTON made it 16 games unbeaten at home in all competitions but couldn’t find a way past a resolute Hitchin Town side.
The result sees the Blues in second spot, seven poiints behind leaders Tamworth.
Hitchin started the better of the sides and Sam Donkin denied Joshua Allen after just five minutes on the edge of the box while the impressive Diogo Freitas Gouveia was just off target on 17 minutes.
