■ BASINGSTOKE sealed a 12th consecutive win late on against an impressive Leatherhead side. The hosts started well, Ben Cook had drawn two saves out of Slavomir Huk before Paul Hodges finished an incisive move, tapping in George Reid’s low cross.
Leatherhead gradually asserted themselves though, posing plenty of questions for the league’s stingiest defence and Oliver Allen went closest, crashing a shot against the bar.
