GAINSBOROUGH Trinity left Yorkshire with all three points and now find themselves just a point off the play-off places after beating Guiseley 1-0.
This was a slow-burning affair in the early going, with few half chances of note - though both fashioned a good opportunity before the break.
Benjamin Smales-Braithwaite was invited to shoot just outside the area for the hosts, but the 20-year-old striker’s effort drifted wide of goal.
