TRAFFORD made it four wins on the bounce with a hard-fought victory against an impressive Widnes side.
Sean Miller twice fired wide, home keeper Matty Cooper saved from Connor McCarthy and the visitors dominated.
It was against the run of play that Trafford took the lead in the 28th minute when Matt Hazeldine coolly netted after Cameron Terry had parried an Alfie Belcher thunderbolt.
The second half was similar to the first, with Trafford defending superbly to soak up the Widnes pressure, Harry Norris and Jack Sloan outstanding at the back.
