■A KEENLY anticipated Devon derby turned out to be something of a damp squib of a game.
After a quiet start, the first real excitement came in the 17th minute when Willand smashed a freekick against the visiting defensive wall.
Willand were indebted to George Burton, who made a smart double save to keep the score goalless.
However, the decisive goal came from a deflected effort from Aaron Taylor that thwarted Burton and nestled in the corner of the net.
