A GOAL ten minutes before half-time by Weston -super-Mare captain Dayle Grubb gave his team victory at Winchester and with their nearest rivals Truro City losing increased their lead at the top of the table.
Earlier in the first half Charlie Philpott in the Winchester goal saved two low shots from Jordan Bastin and he made a further save from a Grubb free-kick, but he was not able to keep out Grubb’s decisive effort.
