■ NEW signing Adebayo Akinfenwa failed to inspire relegation-threatened Faversham to a crucial three points as they lost despite taking the lead. The former Wycombe player came out of retirement and made a vital assist to provide Ronald Sithole with the opportunity to put his side ahead after 24 minutes.
Akinfenwa only lasted 45 minutes and that proved crucial as Lancing raised their game after the break and equalised when Kane Louis’ cross into the six-yard box fell to Tyrese Mthunzi who hit home from close range.
