OLLIE Banks and Armando Dobra struck to keep Chesterfield in the hunt for third place with a comfortable victory over FC Halifax Town.
Banks headed home the opener on the stroke of half time before sub Dobra added a second with 20 minutes left to seal a third straight win for the Spireites.
“It was a deserved win but without us being absolutely exceptional,” assistant manager Danny Webb said.
