ATHERTON Collieries recorded their first draw in 12 matches following an uneventful home clash with play-off pushing Gainsborough Trinity.
The match was slow to get started and, in truth, there is very little to say about a forgettable first half.
The one decent opportunity fell to the Colls on 22 minutes, when Luca Defreitas-Hansen forced a goalline block following Adam Rooney’s flick-on from a corner.
