■STAMFORD are beginning to pull clear at the top after coming from a goal down to secure a hard-fought win at Cambridge City.
Home goalkeeper Joe Welch was called into action to deny James Blunden and then did well to block an effort from Cameron Johnson.
City took the lead five minutes before the break when Dan Cotton found the net. However, that lead was short lived as Jonny Margetts responded on the stroke of half-time.
