BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT fell to a 2-0 home defeat by Bowers & Pitsea in an all-Essex affair, with both desperate for points in a relegation six-pointer resulting in the R’s first relegation to Step 4 after seven years following seven years after results elsewhere.
The visitors found the opening after six minutes, as Brandon Aviero was given time and space on the edge of the area to curl his effort into the top corner.
